Assuming that you have installed the program and data under C:\Program Files, all user information is contained in three folders:

< blockquote>>C:\Program Files\Duplo Data As\Living Liturgy\Document
C:\Program Files\Duplo Data As\Living Liturgy\System

[The drive letter (C:\) may be different if you installed the data files on a different drive initially]

User information includes liturgy programs you have prepared, Click and Print documents, additions to Living Liturgy Explorer , addition of words to hymn titles. It is important to back up these files regularly.

Error Messages

What do I do if I get an error message?

Error messages happen when a user, a piece of software or a piece of hardware doesn't do what the computer is expecting it to. Most error messages can be recovered from easily by:

  1. Closing the message and continuing
  2. Closing and reopening the window that caused the error message
  3. Closing and reopening the program that caused the error
  4. As a last resort it is sometimes necessary to reboot the computer. This will often get rid of the error.

If the error persists and prevents normal operation of Living Liturgy by LabOra you should prepare a file called MyErrorLog.doc that contains:

  1. A copy of the error message. With the error message highlighted use Alt/Print Screen to copy it to the clipboard, than paste the error message into your MyErrorLog file.
  2. A brief description of what you were doing at the time of the error and what happened
  3. Your Operating system (Windows 98SE, Windows XP Home etc)
  4. A copy of the programme log. You will find this in the following directory, unless you installed it in a different folder – C:\Program files\Duplo Data AS\Living Liturgy\ log.txt

Send an email to livingliturgy@ang.org.nz and attach the file you prepared: MyErrorLog.doc file

Be assured that we will do everything we can to fix the error or to help you find a workaround.

Can I copy my personal Songbooks or Clipart Collections to another Living Liturgy by LabOra Resource Browser?

At this point there is no simple way to do this, but we are working on it. In the meantime it is possible to work around the problem by doing the following:

1)     In the Living Liturgy resource browser you wish to copy to create a songbook or clipart collection with exactly the same name and abbreviation as the one you wish to copy.

2)     On the original computer, go to the Living Liturgy User Data folder (usually c:\Program Files\Duplo Data AS\ Living Liturgy \User Data\

3)     For Songbooks, go into the Songbooks folder and copy the [songbook name].mdb file. For Clipart Collections go into the Graphics folder and copy the folder for the Collection wanted.

4)     Copy the [songbook name].mdb file into the Songbooks folder or the Clipart Collection folder into the Graphics folder on the second computer.

You should now be able to access the information on the second computer.
