Features

Living Liturgy by LabOra is a step into the future, providing both a liturgical library and preparation help in electronic form.
The software is produced by Duplo Data in Norway and is used by Anglican, Catholic, Lutheran and other churches in Europe, North America and in Australasia. Anglicans in Australia use this software under the name e-pray, and it is also available for the Uniting Church in Australia and the Catholic Church in Australia and New Zealand.

Living Liturgy by LabOra is a CD library

All the material comes on a CD and installs itself on your computer. It is instantly available with no internet dialup or download time. It is easy to load up your existing resources - like the hymn words you have on your computer already, or the liturgy resources you access on the internet. Living Liturgy also keeps track of the things you write yourself: sermons, intercessions, and other resources.

Look what's in it !

  • The whole of A New Zealand Prayer Book, including all liturgies, the Catechism, the Psalms and other resources.
  • ANZPB Collects selected for every Sunday of the RCL.
  • The whole Lectionary with readings and psalms for every day of the year and for special commemorations.
  • The liturgies of Baptism, Confirmation and Renewal in the different options - children or adult, within a Eucharist and without, Baptism and Confirmation together or separately.
  • The entire three volumes of Celebrating Common Prayer, including additional resources.
  • The whole of For All The Saints, both the full information and texts for liturgical use, updated regularly to reflect date changes etc.
  • The full text of the Ashes to Fire resource for Lent and Holy Week.
  • Additional resources from the Church of England's Common Worship, New Patterns for Worship and the Consultation on Common Texts Collects and Introductions for the RCL.
  • Resources from five different hymn books and the full lyrics for hymns from the New Zealand Hymnbook Trust's Alleluia Aotearoa, Faith Forever Singing and Carol Our Christmas.
  • Clipart selection for most Sundays.

But wait, there's more...

In addition to this huge collection of liturgical resources, there are other helpful preparation tools:

  • Living Liturgy provides the opportunity to create your own song and clip art collections.
  • Templates for preparing service booklets and PowerPoint presentations.
  • The ability to create your own templates for liturgy preparation.
  • Living Liturgy Service Builder allows you to create your own liturgies using the Liturgical Template.
  • Living Liturgy helps you keep track of your hymn usage and liturgy team members.
