Vicar Holy Trinity Forest Lake

Vicar Holy Trinity Forest Lake

Forest Lake is a central west area of Hamilton. With its schools, parks and sporting facilities, this is a growing area that is a great place to live and raise a family.

The next vicar will be someone who loves the Lord God and has a lively personal faith and an eagerness to see others come to know Jesus and be discipled.

The parish has identified two priorities for the next vicar:

1. To meet the needs of the existing congregation

2. To pray and seek the Lord to open up ways and means of engaging the local community to start new ministry and worship.

There is hope that the church buildings will be increasingly used by different communities for mission and to raise extra resources.

The parish understands that each person has been gifted by the Lord with different gifts and talents and is open for the new Vicar to explore doing things in mission in their own style and in their strengths.

As this is an Anglican Parish, a suitable applicant will be suitably qualified and ordained and will be required to undergo the current clearance checks that are in place by the diocese.

The position is 0.8 time and all allowances, including housing, supervision, books and spiritual direction, will be met as part of the position. The position has funding for three years at this level and it is hoped that as the church grows the funding and resources will continue to grow, so this will need to be reviewed in time.
