Vicar – Lower Hutt Wellington Diocese The parish of Lower Hutt (consisting of St James’ Church and All Saints) is looking for a new Vicar (Full Time) to take on the challenge of leading our parish into a new era of growth.

We wish to build a thriving multicultural community that cares for and includes all ages. We are looking for an energetic and strategic leader who can build on the vision of our church. They should be an experienced priest who is open to working with a diverse group of staff and volunteers. An ability to delegate is essential to oversee the range of services, pastoral care needs and spiritual direction of the parish.

Our church has a rich history of over 170 years at the heart of our community and is looking to continue to expand our reach into the community to grow our parish. We offer a wide array of worship styles and are fortunate to have a rich musical tradition that embraces both contemporary and traditional music.
