Vicar - St Christopher's, Avonhead; Fulltime

St Christopher’s is a joyfully evangelical Anglican Church located in the north-west suburb of Avonhead, Christchurch.

We are looking for a permanent vicar who can lead us in the next phase of our regeneration, sustaining the progress identified in our recent parish review. Some who can:

• encourage the regenerative work we have begun;
• lead a team of laity and clergy;
• provide opportunities for service and empowering people to carry forward the mission of God;
• help us continue to grow in faith and to become disciple-makers.

Applicants must be:

• an Anglican priest currently in good standing with their bishop
• conversant with the character and culture of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia.
• already have the right to work in New Zealand
• willing to undertake Police vetting.
