Te Manawa o Te Wheke is one of five Māori diocese of the Anglican Church of Aotearoa, New

Mō te turanga - About the Role
This is a permanent full time position, based at our Office in Holden’s Bay (Rotorua). You will be
responsible for general administration, finance and accounts within the Amorangi (Māori
Diocese). Predominantly accounts payable, accounts receivable and all aspects of bookkeeping
for the central office and across the Vestries of the Amorangi (Māori Diocese). For the right skilled
person – we can offer flexible start and finish times and occasional Work from home options.

Mō tōu ake āhua - About You
A can-do attitude and flexibility are essential for this role. In addition to regular tasks, one-off and
special projects will land on your desk regularly, so a willingness to dive in and get things done is
important.

All of our work requires a high level of accuracy so your attention to detail will be a key skill.

You will need intermediate knowledge with MS Office and you will need to be tech savvy to learn
our cloud based systems and databases. Experience and knowledge of Xero, and GST would be
preferable.

You will have proven data entry skills, strong attention to detail, excellent communication (both
written and verbal) and time management skills. Alongside a positive attitude with a commitment
to teamwork.

Fluency in Te Reo Māori and an understanding of Tikanga is an advantage.
